WANT TO GET INVOLVED WITH KLIFE? 

KLIFE’s goal is to disciple, mentor, encourage, and support the teenagers in Searcy. One of the major ways we accomplish that is through college students who volunteer their time to pour into kids. Our model of ministry is to GROW EXCITEMENT, ENGAGE HEARTS & SHARE LIFE


UNDERSTAND OUR LEADER APPLICATION PROCESS:

  • Step 1: Meet with one of our full time paid Staff members to discuss areas of involvement, ask any questions, and begin the process of being a Leader.

  • Step 2: Fill out the 5 page Volunteer Application HERE.

  • Step 3: City, county, state and federal background checks are run and all references are called and questioned.

  • Step 4: One hour personal interview with one of our full time paid Staff members.

  • Step 5: Attend our Leader training process.

KLIFE Ministries has zero tolerance for abuse. We take abuse seriously and do prosecute to the fullest extent of the law. To ensure the safety of the kids involved, completion of the application process is mandatory in our screening process. Interactions with youth will be monitored and a code of conduct must be signed and adhered to.

TRAINING

Small Group Leaders – All of our small group leaders are trained in following areas:

1)   Safety Policies & Procedures

2)   Zero Tolerance Regarding Abuse

3)   Comprehensive Sexual Abuse Awareness Prevention

4)   Proper Conduct

          -Code of Conduct

          -Specific policies regarding modesty and one-on-one meetings

          -Specific guidelines on communicating with students

          -Reporting guidelines

          -Facilities Management and Safety

          -Transportation

 

Each year parents entrust in KLIFE’s care over 12,000 precious children. KLIFE takes this responsibility very seriously. KLIFE has taken great care to create programs, training and processes that have been designed to safeguard your child during their time at KLIFE. Unfortunately accidents happen and illnesses can strike but it is our commitment to you that we will exercise every foreseeable precaution to minimize these risks.
